DESIGN CHOICES & CRAFTSMANSHIP

One design option is to choose a colored fence. This can be an exciting way to create a unique look for your home.

The fence models Jämtgård and Leksand are available in colored finishes. In terms of craftsmanship, we treat the gärdsgård with the same care as always. For a colored fence, we first remove the bark from the fence posts, brush them with a steel brush to bring out the wood’s texture, and then paint the posts and rails with tar paint before installation.

We use tar paint for treatment, which is available in various colors: black, gray, red, and brown. If you choose not to repaint the fence, the paint will fade and the fence will turn gray over time. Try out different fences and color schemes in our tool.
